Ponta Do Ouro Self-catering Scuba Accommodation

Accommodation is in the comfort of a nine bedroom lodge. All bedrooms are air-conditioned and have en-suite bathrooms, accommodating 18 sharing guests (adults) and excludes children sharing with their parents. An added bonus is that children sharing with their parents stay for free.

The bedrooms are furnished as follows:

• Room 1: Double bed
• Room 2: Double Bed
• Room 3: Double bed and single bunk bed
• Room 4: Double bed and single bunk bed
• Room 5: Double bed and single bunk bed
• Room 6: Double bed and single bunk bed
• Room 7: Double bed and single bunk bed
• Room 8: (Family Room) Double bed and 3 single beds
• Room 9: (Family Room) This room has been divided in two and has two double beds as well as a loft room which sleeps 4 children comfortable.
• Linen is supplied. Guests must bring their own bath and beach towels. All rooms are serviced

Pool Deck
A spacious and comfortable pool deck is the main focus area of the lodge.
 
TV Lounge
DSTV is available in the TV lounge which has been furnished with comfortable couches.

Self Catering Kitchen/Group Catering
We are in the process of building a new self catering kitchen with gas cookers, ample fridge & freezer space, food preparation and storage areas as well as a braai (BBQ) and dining area with a spectacular view of the ocean. Our chef is at hand at no extra cost to prepare and serve meals which she will prepare with groceries supplied by guests.
 
Garden/Lawn Area
For those guests who want to spend a little quite time reading or simply relaxing in the shade, our garden/lawn area overlooking the ocean is the ideal place.

Diving:
This is diving as it should be. Planet Scuba’s aim is to put the pleasure back into diving, by making diving as effortless as possible. No gear to carry, or boats to load! You and your equipment are transported to and from the beach, your gear is washed by our staff, and cylinders filled ready for the next dive. Emphasis is placed on diving safety.

More Information:

• The well known Café del Mare is a mere 50m away.
• During the high season, Ponta is a hive of activity.

Rates:

Accommodation Rates:
• High Season: The Easter Long Weekend and 16 December 2009 – 10 January 2010
  Cost: R350 per night per adult person sharing – children under 12 sharing with their parents stay for free.
• Low Season: All other dates not mentioned above.
  Cost: R250 per night per adult person sharing – children under 12 sharing with their parents stay for free.
• Confirmation Deposit: 50% Payable on booking to secure reservation.
• Balance of Payment: Three weeks prior to arrival.
• Cancellations/Refunds: Reservations cancelled up to one month prior to arrival will be refunded in total. After this time, refunds will only be made if the room is booked by another guest.
• Dive Master/Instructor: One complementary accommodation package per group of 8 or more paying guests.
  
  Diving Rates
• Casual Dives – R260.00 per dive
• Payment Terms
  Group bookings: All dives must be paid for at least one week prior to arrival
  Dive Credits/Refunds will only be given if dives are cancelled due to:
• Inclement weather conditions – cancelled launches
• At the discretion of the dive operator
